The University’s Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct articulates the professional and personal conduct expected of NUS staff in the course of their employment. Staff are expected to adhere to this Code of Conduct at all times.
Staff Disciplinary Procedures and Sanctions Policy
The policy on “Staff Disciplinary Procedures and Sanctions” (“SDP”) details the appropriate investigatory, interim actions pending completion of the investigation and/or disciplinary actions to be taken for cases of misconduct by a staff member, except where separate policies/procedures exist, such as the Research Integrity Code, Whistleblowing Policy, and Procedures for Investigation into Fraud, Misappropriation or Corruption under the Whistleblowing Policy.

NUS Personal Data Protection Policy & Procedures (PDPP)

NUS Requirements on Safety, Health and Emergency Management
This is mandatory for all new staff and to be completed within one month of joining the University. In this module, you’ll understand the following:

Online Fire Safety Training Course
This is mandatory for all new staff and to be completed within one month of joining the University.
Any personnel who had previously attended the Fire Safety Education Course or the Fire Safety Refresher Course is exempted from taking this online training.
In this module, you’ll understand the importance of fire safety, common causes of fire, fire prevention measures, how to respond to a fire, how to extinguish a fire and fire evacuation procedures.
Laboratory Safety Induction Training
This training is mandatory for all new staff working in laboratories and workshops prior to performing activities in the laboratory.
This training will give a general overview of safety and health in the laboratories.
