Understanding International SOS Solutions
24/7 Assistance Centre
For Emergency and General Assistance, call the International SOS Hotline through the Assistance Application or at +65 6338 7800 (Call charges apply)
- Provides emergency management support end-to-end
- Handles requests from NUS travellers for advice or assistance regarding health, safety or travel related issues while overseas
- Non-travellers may call on behalf of the traveller in emergency situation
- Calls to International SOS Assistance Centre will incur calling charges and possibly international calling charges. Use the Assistance App to call the nearest Assistance Centre, reducing the likelihood of an international call. Emergency Phone Charges may be claimable against Travel Insurance.
Automated Crisis Communication
- A message notification is sent to all impacted travellers within the impact radius of any Special Advisory
- The message notification is sent through text or email. The traveller may receive a call too
- Traveller is expected to respond to the communication indicating your status and whether help is required
- This service helps NUS ensure that our travellers are accounted for and supported during such events
Assistance Mobile Application
- Contains the number of the nearest Assistance Centre (no internet needed for this feature).
- Add or modify trip details to receive targeted alerts
- Self check-in to get localised alerts
- Contains general information on country and city, particularly on Security and Medical

Tracker
- Integrated with NUS Travel Management Company / Concur. Once the trip is booked on Concur, the trip itinerary is added to Tracker
- Traveller will then receive alerts relevant to the trip itinerary. Traveller should ensure that their trip is reflected in the system
- A communication tool for NUS to contact traveller
